It's very much a village local, offering a warm welcome to all who enter. Split-level and featuring a large inglenook fireplace, and large beer garden. Food now available Wednesday to Sunday lunchtimes, and may be available at other times if booked in advance. Summer BBQs occasionally held. There is a popular fortnightly quiz (Wednesday), and a monthly bingo evening The local CAMRA branch held its first meeting here in 1974. Children and dogs are welcome in the pub.
