• North Sussex 2025 Ale & Cider Trail Saturday 1 March – Friday 6 June 2025

  
  After the success of our Anniversary Ale trail last year, we are launching a bigger and better Trail for 2025, running from March 1st to June 6th.
  
  The list of 34 venues has now been finalised and are listed on the poster shown here.
  
  The Trail will be launched on Saturday March 1st at the Engine Room in East Grinstead from 1pm, and will finish with a prize draw to select the winning Trailers at 7pm on Friday June 6th at the Kings Arms in Horsham.
  
  Ale Trailers will need to pick up the Trail Leaflet, which will detail all the Ale & Cider Trail venues to visit and collect a sticker at each. Leaflets will be available at each venue and also at our Spring Equinox beer festival on March 21st and 22nd where you will be able to collect the Festival sticker.
  
  To receive a sticker, you need to spend money at each venue. We’d love it if that was a pint of the great local Ale or Cider available there, but we appreciate that might not always be practical.

  There will be six prize winners this year, who will receive a voucher to spend in the Ale & Cider Trail venue of their choice. Top prize is a voucher for £60, for those who have collected 28 or more of the stickers. Two second prizes of a voucher for £40, for those who have collected 22 or more of the stickers. Three third prizes of a voucher for £20, for those who have collected 17 or more of the stickers. Each Ale Trailer can win no more than one prize.

• Branch AGM Wednesday 14 May 2025 19:30

  AGM is on Wednesday May 14th, not May 13th as previously advertised. Venue is the Half Moon at Balcombe. Meeting starts at 7:30, but there will be members there from about 6 to have dinner before the meeting. Please contact the pub if you plan to have dinner, so that they know likely numbers. Hope to see you there.

• Kissingate Spring Festival 2025 Saturday 17 May 2025 11:00 Kissingate Brewery, Lower Beeding

  
  
  There will be at least 14 cask beers, including two guests, at the annual bash in the tranquil surroundings of Lower Beeding, near Horsham.

  We will also be presenting the Dark Beer of the Festival award that day from our 2025 Spring Equinox Beer & Cider festival.

• Ale trail day out Saturday 24 May 2025 Firebird Brewery, Rudgwick

  

  A day out to collect Ale Trail stickers.
  
  Likely plan is (using the 63 bus):
  
  11:40 Bus from Horsham Bus station to Rudgwick, then a walk of about a mile to visit Firebird Brewery.
  
  Walk back to the bus stop, for the 15:08 bus, hopping off at Slinfold for Red Lyon
  
  16:08 bus back to Horsham.
