• 50th Anniversary Ale & Cider Trail Saturday 16 March – Tuesday 14 May 2024

  As part of the branch 50th celebrations we are running an Ale and Cider trail with Beer Voucher prizes for four lucky participants.

  The event is open to all (not just CAMRA members) and will operate at the following venues:

  Kissingate Brewery - Lower Beeding	White Horse - Maplehurst
  Kings Head - Rudgewick	Red Lion - Turners Hill
  Half Moon - Warninglid

  
  This is how it works:
  
  JUST ASK a member of the bar staff for a sticker when you buy any drink (We'd love it if it was a pint from our local breweries and/or cidermakers, to celebrate their support for the Trail).
  
  To qualify for the prize draw you need to collect stickers from at least Nine of the Pubs/Brewery Taps and then send us your completed sheet.
  
  Four such Ale Trailers will win £25 to spend in the participating Pub/Brewery Tap of their choice.
  
  Please email a picture or pdf of your completed sheet to: ku.gro.armac.xessushtron@yraterces by 7pm on Tuesday 14th May, or bring it to the branch AGM that evening at the Apple Tree in Crawley.

• Brewery Shades Dark vs Lights Beer Festival Friday 3 – Sunday 5 May 2024 Brewery Shades, Crawley

  featuring a special limited edition Star wars beer, fancy dress and music as well as 15 casks and 3 craft keg.

• Kissingate Spring Festival Saturday 11 May 2024 11:00 Kissingate Brewery, Lower Beeding

  
  
  There will be at least 14 cask beers, including two guests, at the annual bash in the tranquil surroundings of Lower Beeding, near Horsham.

  We are running a minibus to and from the Brewery at £12 per person at the following times:
  
  10.45am - Meet at the bus stop outside Horsham Station
  11am - Minibus pick up to Kissingate
  16:45 - Meet at the front of Kissingate for pickup
  17:00 - Minibus leaves Kissingate for Horsham Station drop-off.

• Sussex Pub of the Year Trip Saturday 11 May 2024

  Mike Head is arranging a trip around the pubs in Pagham and The Foghorn in Portslade, with bonus pubs in the Brighton area for the Sussex Pub of the Year regional judging.

• Branch Annual General Meeting Tuesday 14 May 2024 19:30 Apple Tree, Crawley

  All branch committee positions are up for grabs at The Apple Tree in West Green, Crawley.
  
  There will be a review of our achievements over 2023-2024, votes for committee positions, and votes for future social events.

• Yapton Beer Featival Saturday 18 May 2024 Yapton & Ford Village Hall

  A firm favourite with branch members and a truly great day out.
  
  Outbound:Train from Crawley station - 10.18am (Horsham - 10.31am) to Barnham then the 11.08am 500 Bus to Yapton Hall.
  
  Return: 17.15 500 bus from outside Yapton Co-Op to get the 17.47 train from Barnham (arrives Horsham:18.02 - Crawley:18.28)
  
  Note there is no vintage bus route this year.
  
  Also, we will be meeting for breakfast in the Station Cafe, Horsham from 9.30am - all welcome.
